Looking for a new salad to try? Same old recipes not doing it for you anymore? Well, this is the dish for you! It’s simple, healthy, tasty and, best of all, you don’t need to spend ages making a fancy dressing – just drizzle on some of our Mild Chilli Oil with Garlic to add flavour and a hint of spice!
This recipe contains all the elements of a perfect salad – veggies (spinach), fruit (apple), protein (chicken), healthy fats (walnuts) and a base of pearl couscous. If you haven’t cooked with pearl couscous before – no worries, it’s extremely simple and fast. Fun fact – despite it’s name, pearl couscous is not a type of couscous – it is actually a type of pasta, which is why it’s so delicious!
Ingredients:
2 handfuls of baby spinach
1 cup cooked chicken
1 cup cooked pearl couscous
1 apple, diced
40g walnuts
Dressing: House of Dumplings Mild Chilli Oil with Garlic
Method:
- Add all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add garlic chilli oil and toss.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
