The Good Oil

When you drive through Canterbury in late spring and summer, you might notice the beautiful golden flowers of premium rapeseed.

 

The Good Oil cold-presses the precious oil from the seed, meaning no chemicals are used. This ensures maximum nutrients and flavour for us all.

 

High in Omega 3 and 6.

 

We only use The Good Oil for all our dumplings and sauces.

Hemp Connect

 

A collective of NZ farmers produce this highly sustainable hemp plant. It is a great source of plant-based protein that is nutty, and rich in Omega 3 and 6.

Hemp seeds also contain high amounts of vitamin E, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, calcium and zinc.

Big Glory Bay Salmon

Glory Bay King Salmon is sustainably ocean farmed in the pristine coastal waters of Glory Bay in Stewart Island, located at the very bottom of New Zealand. The bay’s pure waters are constantly refreshed by cold currents, keeping the temperature to a chilly 12°C. That slows the salmon’s growth, giving it time to develop it’s distinctive rich, smooth flavour. 

 

Big Glory Bay has the credentials to prove their commitment to the wellbeing of their salmon and the sustainability of their environment. Their Big Glory Bay Salmon farm is proudly Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified. NZ King Salmon is also the first ocean-farmed salmon to achieve the ‘best choice’ green rating from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch™ programme.

Daniel and his team have been raising heritage pigs free-range style since 2013. 

 

They are raised with no growth hormones, and not in cages or barn environments. 

 

The heritage breeds Large Black Doric and Birkshire pigs thrive in the NZ outdoor environment. Flavour develops due to its slow growth nature – the tastiest pork you can get in New Zealand.
