Our food is only flavoured from nature, with fresh herbs, spices and seasoning. You will NOT find any MSG, artificial colouring or flavouring or preservatives in our range whatsoever.

Every single dumpling is carefully handmade by us,  just like every dumpling should be. Everything is made from scratch by our chefs from the pastry to the sauces.

It makes so much sense to use local ingredients. It is fresher, with less food miles and supports the local economy. We love getting our ingredients from local producers.

Our Story


How it all started?

Growing up in Hong Kong my sister and I used to sit around the living room and help mum make dumplings.Because I was an athlete in my teens, I could easily eat more than 30 dumplings at a time. They are my ultimate comfort food!

Most dumplings that are commercially available are often filled with unknown objects and full of MSG, it is very different from the homemade ones that I grew up with – busted with herbs and beautiful ingredients. My job is to fill in that gap.

In April 2012, I started House of Dumplings with just 2 manual pasta machines. I spent 17 hours to make the dumplings and then peddled them on my cargo bike to the City Market to sell. It sold out within two hours!”
